Stairs Looked Worn Compared to New Garage Floor
A homeowner in Independence, Missouri had us install epoxy in his garage, but at the time of service, had expressed no interest in us doing the stairs. Within a few months, he scheduled services again, because he realized he did, in fact, want the stairs to have the same brand new look as the garage floor.
Our Epoxy Installation Process for Stairs
Because there was no old epoxy to remove on the stairs, we prepped the stairs and handrail by lightly sanding to ensure proper adhesion of the epoxy. We thoroughly vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris before applying the epoxy. For the best aesthetic results, we chose to apply the full flake broadcast to the stairs only and not the hand rail.
The homeowner agreed that the subtle difference between the rail and stairs proved to be an excellent decision. He was also happy to learn that the stairs were now slip resistant and easy to clean, just like the garage floor.
