New Marble Tops Protected Against Etching

Newly Installed Marble Is Susceptible to Etch Damage

A homeowner in Omaha, NE contacted us because she was concerned about her brand new marble countertops getting ruined by etching and staining caused by acidic food and drinks. She had previously owned marble countertops and knew how susceptible they were to such damage. She had heard that MORE™ AntiEtch™ could keep her tops looking new and that we regularly apply such protection to countertops, bar tops, vanities, and more.

Our MORE™ AntiEtch™ Installation Process

First, we covered the walls, cabinets, and other surfaces around our work area. Then we set to work, honing the stone twice to prepare the marble for the anti-etch coating. Next, we carefully applied the MORE™ AntiEtch™ treatment, leveled out the product, and cured it using an ultraviolet curing system. We gave the marble a final polish to ensure maximum clarity and reflection.

The homeowner was surprised at how natural the finish looked, as if there were no coating at all, and how the natural light from the window reflected beautifully on the surface of the marble. With our anti-etch protection services, she can now freely use her brand new countertops without having any worries about stains and etching.
