Cleaning and Restoration of Tile and Grout in a Fountain
Dingy Looking Fountain in a Commercial Building
A funeral home in Overland Park was doing spring cleaning, and reached out to us to make improvements to their interior fountain. Intrigued by an interesting job, we agreed to come out for a FREE consultation and estimate. Their was an overall dingy look to the fountain, a buildup of calcium and hard water deposits on the tile and grout as well as the granite surround. We were able to assure the owners that the fountain would be able to be restored with minimal disruption to business.
Our Restoration Process for Fountains
Using special detergents and our high-pressure steam extraction equipment, we were able to clean the tile and grout of all built-up mineral deposits and mildew. We followed up by drying the fountain and doing all necessary grout repairs. We were then able to seal the grout lines with our water-resistant and sanitary color seal to ensure they looked brand new and white. We then machine polished the granite surround, and sealed it with a color enhancing sealer to restore the deep black color and gloss, as well as provide water proofing capabilities. They were able to return the fountain back to service within 3 days.
